Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how The Tavern & Inn Company Ltd looks after any personal information you share with us through this website, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by The Tavern & Inn Company Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16836738), registered office 39 Foley Street, London W1W 7TP. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything to do with your data, contact us at operations@ttic.co.uk.
The short version
This is a simple brochure website. It does not run advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not sell your data to anyone. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us — for example, if you email us an enquiry.
What we collect
- When you browse: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. The site itself sets only essential cookies and does not track you.
- When you contact us: if you email us or send an enquiry, we receive your name, the contact details you give, and whatever you put in your message.
How and why we use it
We use your information to reply to you, to handle bookings and enquiries, and to keep the website secure and working. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to you, and — where relevant — taking steps at your request before entering into any arrangement.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the website and our email (for example, our hosting and email providers), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it — for example, enquiry correspondence is kept while it is relevant and then deleted. Server logs are retained for a short period by our host for security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email operations@ttic.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised date above.
